Malerweg, Etappe 7: Kurort Gohrisch bis Weißig – hike
From Gohrisch the route climbs the Pfaffenstein with the Barbarine and goes through the Klammweg to the Quirl with the Diebskeller. Then you descend to Königstein and climb up to the Festung Königstein, which Canaletto painted five times between 1756 and 1758. Via the Kanonenweg you reach Thürmsdorf with its castle, castle park and chocolate factory, then the Malerwegkapelle with the Thiele-Aussicht, and, along the edge of the forest, Weißig – the last stretch is the tip of the Jäger family.
