Malá Pravčická brána (Kleines Prebischtor) und Šaunštejn – hike
This short tour takes in two quiet counterparts to the big attractions of the Bohemian Switzerland. From Vysoká Lípa, first follow the yellow markers, then the red ones, which here are also the E3 long-distance trail. At about 2.3 metres high and 3.3 metres wide, the Kleines Prebischtor is a delicate rock arch, reached by an iron ladder and freely accessible. A few minutes away stands the rock castle Šaunštejn, a 14th-century complex, whose ascent leads through narrow rock crevices and up ladders. At the top you will find chambers carved into the sandstone, a cistern and foundations, as well as a wide view over the Bohemian Switzerland. The route follows forest paths and rock steps.
