Walderlebnispfad Reinhardtsdorf-Schöna – hike

This short circular trail is laid out as an adventure path for families and takes about forty minutes to walk – considerably longer with children. Fourteen play stations and fifteen information boards let you discover the forest by touching, listening and trying things out. The stations include an experiment on how much water the soil absorbs, a barefoot trail, a suspension bridge and an animal long jump, where you can compare yourself with the jumping distances of forest animals. The trail is suitable for pushchairs, but just under half of it runs along forest tracks and paths, and only about a tenth is tarmacked. There is hardly any climbing: the path rises and falls by only about twelve metres.

Tip: Please bring a change of clothes, as children get wet at the water stations. Keep dogs on a lead in the adjoining woodland.
