Von Pillnitz über Borsberg und Triebenberg – hike
From the car park at Schloss Pillnitz, you climb through the Pillnitzer Weinberg and the Königlicher Weinberg up to the Rysselkuppe, where the view stretches across the Elbe valley. The ascent that follows to the Jagdweg is the steepest section of the tour. Across the slopes of the Borsberg, which the route circles, you continue to Zaschendorf and on to the Triebenberg, at 383 metres the highest point in Dresden and on the circuit. The way back leads via Reitzendorf, the Meixmühle and the Friedrichsgrundbach to Pillnitz. The terrain ranges from vineyard paths and field tracks on the plateau to shady stream paths in the Friedrichsgrund.
