Thorwalder Wände, Hickelhöhle und Webergrotte – hike
From the Neumannmühle, at about 220 metres, you follow the valley into the Großer Zschand, with the jagged Thorwalder Wände towering above you. The path climbs via the Großer Hochhübelweg to the plateau and stays up there for a while on narrow forest paths with ever-new views into the gorges. Along the way you will find the Hickelhöhle and the Webergrotte, two weathered rock niches where it is noticeably cooler. The highest point is at around 403 metres, the lowest at about 197 metres. To finish, you head back down into the valley to the Neumannmühle.
