Rundweg um den Kurort Gohrisch – hike
This quiet circuit stays below the table mountains and shows the spa-town landscape at its gentlest. From the Gemeindeverwaltung (municipal office), head first towards Papstdorf and, at the junction to Bad Schandau, turn right into the Stiller Grund. After about 700 metres the path turns right again and then leads along Jagdsteig and Königsweg to the Pfaffendorfer Straße, which you cross. On the old Schulweg you reach the Schöne Aussicht with a view of the Königstein before heading back to the start. With only around 90 metres of ascent, it is the right tour for an afternoon or for days with uncertain weather.
Tip: Part of the route runs along local roads, and the Pfaffendorfer Straße is crossed – please watch out for traffic there.
