Rundwanderung Rehefeld an der Wilden Weißeritz – hike
From car park P6, the path leads first into the forest and then down to the bridge over the Wilde Weißeritz, which is still just a narrow mountain stream here. You then climb onto a ridge path with open views over the mountain meadows and forests of the upper Osterzgebirge. The second part follows traditional forest tracks and quiet village roads back to Rehefeld-Zaunhaus. The surface is mostly firm, but in the forest sections it can be soft and damp after rain. The circuit is short enough for an afternoon and has several good spots for a break.
Tip: Walkable all year round. In winter the area is especially popular for cross-country skiing, and paths may have groomed tracks. Sturdy shoes and weather protection are sensible up here, as the weather changes quickly.
