Runde zur Hohen Liebe über Butterweg und Elbleitenweg – hike
To begin with, the Flößersteig takes you upstream along the Kirnitzsch, past the Beuthenwasserfall. Then the Butterweg climbs roughly two hundred metres in altitude to the Hohe Liebe, a wooded ridge at a good four hundred metres, with views reaching to the Affensteine, the Dom and the Wildenstein peaks. You then continue past the Liebentor onto the Obere Liebenweg and the Elbleitenweg, which run at mid-height beneath the rock groups. The Königsweg completes the loop back down into the Kirnitzschtal. The route follows forest paths and forest tracks almost all the way, with no climbing sections.
