Lilienstein – hike

The only table mountain on the right bank of the Elbe, and the most striking one. From the ferry, climb up over the Tempelberg, follow the Leichenweg to the road, then take the Südaufstieg; at the top you get the panorama from the western tip, where an obelisk from 1708 commemorates August der Starke. Return via the Nordabstieg and the Kirchweg.

Tip: With children: no difficult ladders; best to go up the southern ascent and down the northern descent.
