Kleinsteinhöhle und Ruine Arnstein ab Buschmühle – hike
From the Buschmühle in the Kirnitzschtal valley, you climb up into the forest and reach the ruins of Arnstein, the remains of a medieval rock castle. The route continues via Tägers Wonne and Sturmbauers Eck towards Saupsdorf. The highlight is the Kleinsteinhöhle, a rock arch about ten metres high, up to twelve metres wide and up to seven metres deep, in which an inscription from 1586 has been preserved. The path leads back down into the valley via the Kleinsteinwand, a climbing area with an old Boofe. The surface is mostly soft forest floor with sandy paths and the occasional root step.
