Felsenlabyrinth Langenhennersdorf und Bernhardstein ab Leupoldishain – hike
From the edge of the village in Leupoldishain, the path first heads south past the Nikolsdorfer Wände, a row of free-standing sandstone crags popular with climbers. You then reach the Felsenlabyrinth Langenhennersdorf, where a numbered circular trail leads through narrow gorges and hourglass-shaped weathered hollows; allow one to two hours for the labyrinth alone. The route continues up the Bernhardstein, 425 metres high, with an open view of the Festung Königstein. You then return via the Stelzchen viewpoint along the Hirschstange and the Promenadenweg. The surface alternates between wide forest tracks and narrow, rooty paths among the rocks.
