Bynovecké skalní město a skalní vyhlídky (Felsenstadt bei Bynovec und Aussichtsfelsen) – hike
From Bynovec, follow the green markings to the forest crossroads below the Kamenský vrch and on into the rock city, whose most striking formation is the rock gateway Slunečná brána. At Liščí křižovatka, switch to the red markings and you will reach the Spálenisko viewpoint. The path continues to Růžová vyhlídka at around 420 metres, which sits above the Elbe valley with a built-up platform. The terrain is undulating throughout, and the way back includes a steeper descent. You will be walking on forest tracks and sandy paths between sandstone rocks.
Tip: Please bring your ID card; cash in Czech crowns is advisable. The route lies within the Labské pískovce protected landscape area, so please stay on the marked paths. The rock sections are slippery when wet.
