Amselgrundweg von Rathen zum Amselfall – hike
From the ferry, you walk through the village to the Amselsee, which stretches narrowly between the rocks. Above you can see the well-known peaks of the Bastei area, including Lokomotive, Talwächter and Mönch. Further along the valley floor you reach the Felsenbühne Rathen and then the Amselfall. The path ends at the Rathewalder Mühle on the Grünbach. Almost half of the route is gravel, the rest is asphalt or footpath, so the tour is also doable with a pushchair.
