Affensteine – hike
Many rock towers and viewpoints. For the experienced there are the Häntzschelstiege and the Zwillingsstiege; the Wilde Hölle is easier, and the Obere Affensteinweg is the high-level route. The name probably comes from "Aufensteine" – Aufen were eagle owls.
Tip: The Stiegen are not for anyone with a fear of heights. In the national park dogs must be kept on a lead.
